Glennifer perido biography

AS THE holiday season ended, Miss Philippines beauties ended as runners up in four separate competitions abroad. Right on New Year’s Eve, Mutya ng Pilipinas Glennifer Perido was named second runner-up at the 2014 Miss Tourism International held at the Putrajaya International Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with Miss Venezuela Faddya Halaba Troisi besting over 60 contestants from all over the world.

Perido, a 25-year-old, nurse from Kalinga, Cordillera, took the title Miss Tourism Metropolitan International and Miss Andaman Popular Award.

Perido said she was proud and overjoyed to have given honor to the country following the back to back win of her predecessors Rizzini Gomez and Angeli Gomez in 2012 and 2013, respectively.  A three peat would have put the Philippines in the Guinness Book of World Records.
